A graduate of Harvard, University of
Michigan Medical School and subsequently trained at
UC San Francisco, Dr. Brink has been in private practice
for over 25 years. Today, he is recognized as
one of the premier plastic surgeons in the nation. Heightened
visualization, a keen artistic sense and a singular
dedication to patient satisfaction have earned him a
listing in Castle-Connally’s nationwide List of
Top Doctors.

“The key to building a successful practice
is honesty and authenticity. We credit our longevity
to the genuine interest we feel in every patient’s
outcome. That’s something you can’t
fake.”
Well before liposuction and injectables were mainstream
procedures, Dr. Brink perfected techniques in Facial
Rejuvenation and Nose Re-shaping. He designed
and popularized premaxillary implants for use in facial
Surgery—a contour device still widely accepted
among his peers.
“Years ago people could usually
tell if you had plastic Surgery. The procedures
were overdone. Newer techniques have truly helped
our specialty get better results, yet you can still
spot some unnatural outcomes. We have always
chosen to take a conservative road. If you look
like you have had Surgery, the technique leaves something
to be desired. If a procedure identifies itself,
it does not meet our ideal.”
Dr. Brink has authored a number of articles on plastic
Surgery which have appeared in the prestigious “Plastic
and Reconstructive Surgery” medical journal. He
is a longstanding member of several aesthetic and plastic
Surgery societies and a diplomat of the American Board
of Surgery. Dr. Brink attends a variety of forums to
continually refine his skills. A frequently requested
speaker, he generously shares his time and experience
with other surgeons at national meetings.
In 2003, Dr. Brink and Dr. Beck began practicing together
and offer a full spectrum of face, body, breast and
skin procedures to their patients. Dr. Brink contends
he was fortunate to find a younger version of himself
in Dr. Beck. He might be chronologically eligible
to be my son, but we really have more of a brother to
brother relationship. For a young surgeon, his
talent, enthusiasm and skill are remarkable. I consider
him a peer. The tenured staff is a source
of pride for both doctors. Patients enjoy the
professional, yet personal touch delivered by both the
office and Surgery center team.
While Dr. Brink is beginning to explore other related
interests, he is still very active in the practice.
“There
is no question that one of the most satisfying parts
of my profession is having the power to make someone
else happy. It’s not the result itself, but the
patient’s response. I am grateful to play
a role in an individual’s growth as a result
of their enhanced appearance.”
