Introduction to Dr. Beck

Dr. Beck's Most Coveted Surgical Procedures

Rhinoplasty

If you are dissatisfied with the size, shape, or other aspect of your nose, you are a candidate for a rhinoplasty. More commonly known as a “nose job,” the procedure corrects any area of the nose that is misshapen or out of proportion with the rest of your facial features. The nose is the central feature of your face, and irregularities in the shape or size of the nose can leave you feeling embarrassed about your appearance.

Any aspect of the nose can be revised for aesthetic or medical reasons including nostril shape, bumps, a misshapen bridge, a nasal tip that is turned up or down, or structural problems like a deviated septum. The procedure is involves placing discreet incisions, either at the base of the nose between the nostrils or hidden within the nose structure. The bone and cartilage are altered, reshaped, or grafted to craft a more balanced, appealing nose shape and size. Dr. Beck’s practice focuses on creating a nose shape unique to you that is in the correct proportion to your other features in a customized surgery, and he never uses a “one size fits all” approach. His artistic eye has led him to offer some of the best rhinoplasty results in the area.

Breast Augmentation

Problems with the shape, size and symmetry of your breasts can make clothes fit poorly, and can have a negative impact on your feelings of self-confidence in your body image. If you are unhappy with the size, shape, or appearance of your breasts, or have misshapen or uneven breasts, or had a mastectomy and need your breasts restored, a breast augmentation is the answer. As your skin sags or loses its elasticity, a breast lift procedure in conjunction with the augmentation can improve lift, create a more youthful breast position, and better projection and body contour. There are many shapes and sizes of implants available in either saline or silicone, and Dr. Beck will work with you to choose the type of implants appropriate to achieve the results you are looking for from you San Francisco breast augmentation.

A full evaluation of your existing breast tissue is the first step in determining the type of surgical procedure that will produce the enhancement you want. In a breast augmentation, incisions may be placed in the breast crease, following the body’s natural curve.

Saline implants involve smaller incisions which can be placed in the armpit, as saline implants are filled after being surgically inserted. The implants may be placed above or below the chest muscles in a customized surgical treatment plan.

Hair Restoration

Hair loss is a frustrating aspect of aging, and thinning hair or a receding hairline can leave you feeling self-conscious or unattractive. If you struggle with thinning hair or baldness that negatively affects your quality of life and self-confidence, hair restoration may be the best way to regain a more youthful appearance. There are two types of hair restoration procedures: follicular unit transplant (FUT) or follicular unit extraction (FUE). The FUT procedure may be appropriate for those who have extensive hair loss, and involves surgically removing a strip of hair from the back of the head and then harvesting the follicular units for transplanting into the balding or thinning areas. FUE hair restoration is less invasive, faster, and easier on the patient, and is one of the most advanced hair restoration techniques, eliminating concerns about surgical scars, as each hair follicle is extracted individually and transplanted in a natural pattern.

Dr. Beck will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each method and recommend the procedure that will achieve the results you want, based upon the extent of your hair loss. NeoGraft is an FDA-approved FUE procedure offered at Bay Area Aesthetic Surgery.

This revolutionary and highly advanced hair restoration method is faster and less invasive than traditional hair restoration surgery. The procedure offers natural results with minimal scarring, no stitches, and little to no pain, with a much shorter healing time. If you are feeling self-conscious about thinning hair or baldness, explore your options for hair restoration with Dr. Beck.

My primary passion is to help clients identify their goals, educate them about the safest and most effective options, and then deliver superb surgical technique with outstanding follow-up care.
